Sicon - Roading, Earthworks & Civil Engineering

Infrastructure Built on Trust

Contract Supervisor Parks & Reserves Team

We are currently recruiting for an additional Contract Supervisor and are interested in talking to people who want:

  • to be well rewarded for their efforts
  • great working conditions
  • long term job security
  • varied and interesting work
  • progression through career pathways

We understand that having specialized skills, implicit knowledge and a can-do attitude makes the difference between a job that you have to turn up to, and a role in a team that you want to be part of.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be able to lead multiple horticultural crews on various sites located in the Selwyn district.
  • Oversee the timely delivery of quality work projects though good planning, problem solving and leadership.
  • Have experience running successful gardening, mowing or vegetation control programs.
  • Have a recognized New Zealand Horticulture/Turf qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Be computer literate and competent in Microsoft office, including Excel, Word and Outlook.
  • Have experience using a project management software program, however not essential.
  • Have good communication skills and previous hands-on leadership experience.
  • Add value to our well established, professional horticultural team on various sites across the Selwyn district.

You will need a full, clean New Zealand Driver's License.

We are committed to providing a safe work environment, therefore successful candidates are required to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug/alcohol test.

Please email your application and CV to recruit@sicon.co.nz
