Sub-Contractors

All sub-contractors currently working with or who wish to work with Sicon Ltd must first be health and safety approved. This process involves completing the approval document, HS10.2A, and providing the requested supporting documentation:

  •   Health & Safety Policy (signed and dated)
  •   Current insurances
  •   List of associated hazards & controls

to demonstrate understanding and compliance with the Health and Safety at Work (HSW) Act 2015.

Approval status is valid for up to 1 year (subject to performance audit results) and is renewed on the anniversary of your insurance. Any questions or further information can be obtained by contacting the Risk Manager.

Approval Process

Our aim is to ensure the health and safety of sub-contractors working for, or within the vicinity of, a Sicon Ltd worksite. All sub-contractors must meet our requirements and gain approval before commencing work. Completion and approval of our process may aid in a sub-contractor tendering for work or possibly being approached to complete work for an ongoing project, having already met our company expectations.
